bmiller
I have loaded TOAST 8 to my MacBook Pro and have TiVo wireless G adapter picking up signal from my LINSKYS router. Now how do I actually get a recorded TiVo program to my computer? I am not a computer genius so I need an easily explained answer. Thanks for any help, bmiller
Twizzler
I too have a MacBookPro and Series 2 DT TiVo with a Linksys router connecting my TiVo and Computer. To transfer shows onto your computer, open toast and click on TiVo Transfers. You can enable this option by using the Set Up Assistant. When you open the TiVo Transfer, you should see the name of your TiVo under the DVR. If you don't then TiVo has not recognized your computer. You can restart your TiVo, if that doesn't work then unplug your router and replug it until you see your DVR name listed. Once you click on your DVR, then select a show and click Start Transfer. I can only transfer one show at a time.
tsantee
There are help articles for this in the Toast Support page Here. Also, you can look through the posts (especially the stickies) in the TiVotoGo for Mac forum Here. If you still can't get it to work, that's the forum to post your questions.
