Invalid CD Key on EMC 9 re-install

I followed the link yesterday and it worked. Today it is not available. The message I get is:

If you tried it this afternoon, there was a problem with the servers for about 3 hours. Getting any link was hit or miss.

It works for me. It takes awhile to load, but it comes up just fine.

The page you refer to loads, but when I try to get at the patch attachment (either by left-clicking or by right-clicking and selecting 'save target as...') in Internet Explorer I get the following error message dialogue appear:

 

"Internet Explorer cannot download emc9rmv.exe from patches.sonic.com.

Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet Site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later."

 

....low and behold it works in Firefox!!!! How odd. Can someone please confirm that the .EXE is only about 3kb in size. I assume it just deletes certain registry key or similar...?

Hey guys I have the very same frustrating problem. Every time I try to access the patch for " Invalid CD Key " I get an error. Any suggestions to get that file.

 

I own Easy Media Creator 9 and cannot reinstall?

Did you try Firefox?.

The CD Key was pulled by Roxio, because it was not working for everyone.

Yea, I got the file via FireFox but cannot get it to work???

 

I really don't want to format my computer. I had a real nightmare getting Easy CD Creator 7.5 off to get to this point and have to format would be really a pain!!!
