I have been using Toast 7 to burn DVDs from EyeTV on a Pioneer DVR109 (with updated firmware). It just began being very, very slow, both in multiplexing prior to burning and in actually burning the DVD.
Is the speed of Toast multiplexing a file tied to the speed of the DVD burner in some way? I can understand why the actual burning would be slow if the drive is starting to give out, but I do not understand why the multiplexing would be slowed unless Toast is somehow tied to the speed of the burner during this operation even though it is not actually burning.
