Question

I have been trying since the day I got the program to get it to work on either one of my computers and all it does on both of them is just keep asking for the installation disks to reinstall the programs and once it's in that mode it won't stop and after repeated rebooting it asks the same thing all over again. I have XP on my big computer and a new laptop with Vista on it and on neither computer Roxio 9 refuses to work right. I had trouble like crazy with version 8 but finally got half of it to work but with this version I can't get anything to work. The only thing it wants to do on either computer is reinstall. Both computers have different configurations but both have the maximum memory so that isn't the problem. I've tried everything to get this program to work on at least one of the computers but it refuses to even install. After so much trouble with this version and version 8 I give up. I have used Roxio since it's first issue but with each advancement I've had starting out minor troubles getting them to work until now the last two versions are next to impossible. I miss the old days when the program was simpler and the little guy came out when you started the program and said he would help guide you to make a cd. That was more help then we get now.

Hi Gammy,

you need to provide a few specs of the PC's or laptops?, make models??

also many PC's and laptops come with a limited cut down version of burning apps on them?, you need to remove any Drag to disk burning software on these PC's or laptops?

also make sure that the virus software is turned off for the install?

and make sure you have the up-to-date directx and .net patchs on them?

these are a few requirments even before you start to install them (look on the help files on the install CD's or read the back of the box (depending on you medium)

hope this helps
