Audio and Video Sync Issues

Hi

 

I know there are a few other threads on this issue but none of them that I saw seemed to cover my issue!

 

I can capture the video OK using Media Creater 9 and my Adaptec AVC-2010 card. If I just play back the file I have captured using WMP or another player, the recorded fine is spot on. Looks and sounds fab.

I then wish to trim the file (start and stop points) in EMC9. As soon as I do this the audio and video falls out of sync.

 

Anyone experienced anything like this?

Are you using VideoWave? In place of Trim, try using the Split and Delete feature.

My findings are...

 

Yeah, the split and delete thiong worked great! Seemed fine so set about burning a dvd! Oh my, 3 of us had a go and we all think there is about a 3 second sync issue between the audio and picture. Not good.

I used to use Cyberlink Powerproducer without any problems. Look like I may well go back to it!
