Rayi
For some reason, I am not able to log in on another system reinstall. I had to redo my WinXP pro and decided to do it on another hard drive and I was just not able to log in the Roxio forum. Do I have to log out first in this system I am using now? If so I was wondering what you do if your system or hard drive crashes on you. thanks

If you were already using FireFox, try anothr browser, such as Opera. Before I found FireFox worked (it came with this computer, and I hadn't used it before, and don't use it for anything else), I was using a different computer. If it hadn't been for that, I coudn't've even complained. They tell me "we haven't had many complaints like that, so it must not be a very big thing." Of course, anyone who can't get in, won't complain. Lynn

Rayi
>Is this same issue as this one? If so, please stick to that one. I realized I put it under Roxio 9 general discussion and I wanted a broader audience under general chat, as this is a very annoying problem, since I went to migrate to the new system. I will try Firefox and no I do not have caps lock on.
Guest ml
It might have something to do with your security settings. The fact that you can log on on one computer but not the other shows that you're using the right account name and password. I frequently switch computers and can get into the forums without logging out on the other computer. It probably has something to do with your cookie settings, a firewall, popup blocker, etc.

It makes it quite difficult to follow the answers, and it is considered poor forum etiquette.
lynn98109
In my case, the only difference I can figure is I was logged in, and there was a server change, and now it waves me thru when I sign-in, but only back to the please sign-in page. The other computer, which was turned off, has no problem. FireFox, which was not in use, has no problem. I've tried deleting the cookie, and it doesn't make any difference (well, ok, it changed it from unable to get into the German Forums to unable to get into either German OR English Forums). I think it's on Roxio's end. Lynn

Larry
>FireFox, which was not in use, has no problem. Thank you lynn. I was able to log in using Firefox. Very Strange. Sounds to me then like you have something set in IE that's causing the problem. Try comparing the internet settings in IE on the 2 pc's to see what's different. Rayi
Sounds to me then like you have something set in IE that's causing the problem. Try comparing the internet settings in IE on the 2 pc's to see what's different. I don't know if I would know the difference, as I actually never really mess with any settings in Internet Explorer. The new system has a fresh install; not sure what it would do to hinder me from logging in. Microsoft is busy with trying to get people to use IE 7 and all it's newer updates to make that migration to Vista. I had to uninstall IE7 in my old system as it was causing all sorts of strange problems. I decided to avoid IE 7 for quite some time now. So who knows what MS is doing. Interesting how many hits I already have on this log in problem in the forum.
