Using Roxio 8, I've successfully captured clips of my home videos directly from my Sony Digital8 camera using the firewire output from the camera playing into my computer. The results looked and sounded fine. I've burned those same movies directly to DVDs (using a stand-alone Polaroid DVR unit) and they look fine playing back on my TV. My problem is this: I tried capturing those same clips directly from my home-made DVDs, and the audio and video on the resulting computer files are out of sync by about a half a second. I've tried choosing different file formats (AVI, MPEG, etc.) and the results are always out of sync. Any ideas on how to solve this problem???
