firstsacker_9
I have just freshly installed XP-SP2 and updated to all the latest softwares, etc... When i installed and update the Roxio, it saw my drive initially. After i rebooted, there was no default recorder listed. The drive in question is a Toshiba SD-R2002 in this 4600. The BIOS has been update to the latest version, all patches have been done. I have uninstalled reinstalled several times and the same thing keeps happening. It will see the drive until i reboot. Then no more. Does anyone have suggestions. All replies are greatly appreciated.

Guest ml
BTW, I am running AVG 7.5 on this PC. Is this why there is a problem? The only way to tell would be to disable AVG. Does Windows ' see ' the drive in My Computer?
james_hardin
You also want to check in Device Manager to see if any error codes are listed for the burner. – It can be recognized by Windows and ever read, but not work as a burner…
