phildecube
Bought a Dell a while back, and it came bundled with Sonic DigitalMedia LE v7... but no installation disk for same. I have in the past been able to burn CDs/DVDs without issue. Recently, though, DigitalMedia is reporting that there is no burner. And I can't find where one can "tell" it what drive is the burner. THoughts (other than, "dude, your screwed")??? WinXP, SP2, all OS patches, hotfixes, etc. are up to date.

Or it is possible you installed an OS update like IE 7 or WMP 11. Both of those have been known to cause many problems. If you do have them installed, try removing them.
