MyDVD buttons like EMC8

woodchuckr

Question

Hi all,

In MyDVD in EMC8, you could have thumbnail buttons that had animation. When you selected one

it would get a purple tint on it to show it was selected. Is it possible to do this in EMC9 ? I found the

custom button options and if you Highlight or Extend(?) the button all it does is put a yellow box over

the animated thumbnail. The closest I could come was to highlight the text on the thumbnail and

do nothing to the thumbnail. I'm sure you must be able to do this, but I haven't figured out the

right combinations of things to do. Thanks for any help.

Thanks Gary, I had that screen up a dozen times and it never occured to me to click on the color box. At least I got rid of that bright yellow color. In EMC8, when you selected an item, it put up a transparent box so you could still see the video playing through it. Looks like in EMC9, the box is solid. Is there such a thing as a transparent box when something is selected ? Right now I just highlight the text and leave the thumbnail alone. Thanks for any help.

You can also change that 'palette' of color by clicking on the first TAB at the bottom of that. Just like this one, you click on each color to change it.

Yes, I had noticed the difference between V8 & V9. I agree that the transparent highlighting is much better.

run MyDVD

Load your project file

Make sure NOTHING is selected

View / SETTINGS

Click the second tab

The square of colors is called the 'pallette' and can be edited using the first TAB.
