Background for pictures/ return to main manu

Gig A.

Question

I have a numerous photos that were taken as potrait (tall, not wide) and when they are inserted into a slideshow,or edited in videowave, they have a black on either side of the pictures, Is there a way to add/change the color of the back drop pictures are added to if they are taken as potrait pics??

Also, I have put 2 or 3 slideshows (movies) using videowave onto on DVD. I created a menu wth the 3 titles names so you can click on the one you want to watch when the DVD is 1st inserted.

After you watch anyone of them, the slidshow ends but you have a blank grey screen. Is there a way to tell it to return to the main menu when anyone of the slideshows are viewed so you can select the next slidshow to watch??

Thank you

George

Can it also be done mydvd9? Found it in videowave but don't have a production for the one I'd like to modify..??

I opened my slideshow (production) in mydvd9 and tried going to file/production setting. The only option I had was project setting and there was NO option to change the default background..

This is why we always suggest using Videowave. It is the EDITOR. You should create all your slideshows and edit your video in that application. MyDVD does have some limited editing abilities though.

As far as I know, there is no way to change the slideshow background in MyDVD unless you used the slideshow wizard in MyDVD to start.

To change the default background color, click on FILE / Production Setting. YOu can choose a solid color, a gradient or a still image of your own as default.

The menu should default to 'return to menu' for each slideshow unless you have changed it. Load your MyDVD project. Select one button and then VIEW / Settings. Go to the section LINK. Choose the appropriate action in the drop-down list.
