Eric Layne
Hi! I joined this forum just to say, Easy CD Creator 5 is a gigantic piece of crap. Really, it is truly an awful piece of software. Ok, have a nice day!
tbrewst
If maybe you'd give a reason why you think this someone may pay attention to what you're saying.
lynn98109
Mebbe OP assumed a program last updated in 2003 would work with an Operating Sytem last updated in 2005 (WinXP SP2) or 2007 (Vista) ... Current software will work with current Opeating Systems. Lynn

Richard Fdisk.exe
Hi! I joined this forum just to say, Easy CD Creator 5 is a gigantic piece of crap. Really, it is truly an awful piece of software. Ok, have a nice day! I've got ECDC 5 Platinum and I like it better than the newer stuff, 1) when I create an audio CD it puts the tracks in the order I want them no fiddling around with a ton of different keystrokes and mouse clicks. 2) It doesn't spy on everything I do with my computer. 3) It doesn't load a ton of processes at boot (it loads it's processes when the program is loaded) 4) It asks what kind of disk I want to burn after I press the burn button so I have a chance to configure it. 5) As long as "Direct CD" isn't installed it works with windows up to and including *XP SP2* *as long as the XP SP2 has IE 6. and MP10 or MP9 That's my take on it. Brendon
Thanks Richard. The simplicity of version 5 is why I like it better than the later versions. If I want a chair to sit on I don't want to have to buy a couch, a loveseat, three stools, a table, a coffee table, a porch swing, a trampoline and a magazine rack all at the same time. Eric Layne's post (if that is his real name) says more about him than about the program.

I should add one more caveat to my last post and that is I haven't tried ECDC 5.0 on a dual core with the new processor and board architecture I have it installed onto an XP SP2 machine which is a; Dell P4 HT 512 KB Cache or LCache not exactly sure 800MHZ FSB 3.0 GB DDR 400 RAM 120 GB internal HD C:\ 160 GB Internal HD F:\ Samsung DVD/CD ROM NEC ND-2100AD CD/DVD +RW Cheers
