A very ,ong time ago I purchased Roxio EMC 7.0 (Retail). At that time I downloaded an update to 7.0 from Roxio that was 70 to 71_2.exe. It was a "Macrovision Corp" file, version 10.50.0.125. And that update was for the retail version only. I still have the file saved on my Roxio Updates folder.

Hi, so did you check the version of drag-to-disc after the upgrade? Is it 7.1.0.217? How can I download the exe?

BTW, I used Easy Media Creator 7 Basic Edition for installation, the drag-to-disc version is 7.1.0.217. However, I used Easy Media Creator 7 Digital Media Suite, the drag-to-disc version is 7.1.0.189. I would just want to upgrade the version instead of using Basic Edition because of licensing issue.

Personally speaking I would totally avoid even having D2D on my machine, never mind updating it. Its reliability for backup purposes (especially when coupled with RW media) is on a par with the reliability of an igloo on the Equator and is a surefire way to totally lose any data you have.

As I said earlier, the last official update available is to 7.1.0.189 and that is the only one available on the update site for the retail version and 7.0.430.0 for the ESD (download) version
