What are you trying to do? Sound Editor can export and import to many different formats. Music Disc Creator can do some of the same things as well. Let us know what it is you're attempting and we can offer some help.

Not a problem with Sound Editor or Music Disc Creator. Very easy, but you may want to view the help files if you can't get started.

hi

i still dont no how to encode the files from wave to mp3 files.i played an lp into my computer but it was saved

in some baloney file called dmse in my documents....can anybody offer me advise??

dmse is a Sound editor project file. It is essentially a link to the music. .If you have that file open, use the "export" command to export the clips to the format and location you choose.

Start Sound Editor

Click on Add Audio File

Navigate to where your wav files are located, highlight it and click OK

On the left side, under Export, choose Export Current Clip

In the Export box, choose MP3 from the drop down (or click the Options box and select your custom choices)

Select where you want to save the MP3 and name it what you prefer, then click Export
