Well all you people that have a Master Cards will now be able to drink a coke by just slipping your Master Card into the new Coke machines :D

Master Card and Coca Cola have gone together and now there will be Coke machines with a slot for a Master Card---Woner what Pepsi will do to catch up ?? ;)

just think of the card fee's on that sucker.... fee's more than the coke drink... what a good scam

I have had a MC for over 25 years and they have never collected one penny in fees from me!

Haven't had any soft drink - coke or otherwise - for longer than that!!!

Anyway - a wise doctor told me one time that to avoid heat stroke, you had to drink liquids with the correct amout of salt and that beer HAS the correct amount

Way back when I was a young buck, I would always shake a bit of salt in my draft beers. It always tasted better for some reason. Now that I am an old cogger, I just drink the beer and it all tastes good without the salt !! :D

I've done that with certain 'very lite' beers too.

Well since the subject (for now at least ;) ) is beverages, I only occasionally have soda, wine or beer. I've also tried the salt or no salt in the beer, but since I'm such an old cogger now myself, I can't tell the difference anymore :)

I mainly drink coffee all day. You know, java, cup 'o joe, bean brew, Mississippi mud, etc.

It needs to be the dark roast quality kind tho (columbian minimum), made fairly strong (like what you get at those well known coffee shops). I do try to moderate the intake tho, keeping it to only 2 to 4 pots worth per day ;)

Oh, and none of the de-caffienated stuff is allowed. It's just not good for you. :ninja:

It won't be long before some enterprising crooks set up rogue machines with someone inside, (it's big enough), to clone your card and steal your pin.

Hey what a great idea...................byeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

The salt is an old trick to get rid of the extra carbonation so one can drink just one more. :o

I think you are right Steve, as I remember when you sprinkle the salt in your mug of beer it bubbles like crazy, getting rid of some of the carbonation. I'm a real salt-a-holic and that's what made it taste good to me though. Haven't used real salt for years now however.

Burps are good too, Brendon. Salt or no salt :D
