MPEG 2 files to DVD

It depends on the specific MPEG 2 files. You can drag them to Toast and choose Never Re-encode in the Custom Encoder window. But if Toast insists on re-encoding them it means Toast believes that is necessary to make them video-DVD compliant.

What is the source for your MPEG 2 files?
