Supported Video Formats To Edit

Hi everyone.

 

I have a tv digital capture card and have recorded quite a few tv programmes. The problem comes when I try to use Roxio Media Creator 8 to edit these. It simply won't open these files, even though they'll play perfectly with Media Player. I thought they were basic movie files.

 

Doesn't the editor support these types of files?

 

I can't even burn the files as a video DVD.

 

Please help.

What card do you have and what does it output? It's possible the bitrate is too high. Are you in PAL country?
