DVD Drive not recognised in Vista Bussiness

Anoop Reddy

Question

I recently bought and installed Easy Media Creator 9 in my Sony Vaio Laptop(VGN-SZ430N) which is running on Windows Vista Business.

The problem i face is my DVD drive is not recognised by Creator 9. I tried to trouble shoot, but no sucess untill now.

If any one has any answer to this issue/faced this kind of issue, your reply with a solution will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

Thanks Larry for the reply.

The problem i face is different than thats mentioned in the link you provided.

My DVD drive is available for reading DVD's and also available for writing DVD's using Windows media player, how ever when i want to write DVD's using Creator 9 suite...the DVD writer is unavailable. In the bottom portion of the Creator9 application i see a message "No Drive Detected".

To make it short, DVD writer is not recognised by Creator 9.

Pls help me
