HELP

Hello,

 

I'm having trouble!!! I have captured a video from my camcorder and now I want to do 2 things that seem like they should be simple.

 

First, I want to take parts of the video that I don't need and delete them but they are in the middle and I don't know how to select specific pieces.

 

Second I want to select like 3 or 4 minutes out of a 35 minute video and add a song to the background. I have seen this done before but again I don't know how to select specific pieces of video to do what I want and I'm VERY frustrated and ready to give up. I'm brand new at this too. HELP?!?!?!

Thank you for posting the link and taking the effort to make that video. I too had this problem, asked and received your assistance and got the answer, but I was still was confused. Now I just kick myself at seeing how simple this really was (removing a section of video).

Thank you so much for your post. That website helped. I knew it was easy. My video didn't turn out exactly like I wanted but it was my first try and I think I did OK.
