I am not sure if your problem with this is the same that mine was but.....I found that when I had transfered file images to an external or vice-versa, that I had lost control over many things including the sound being "Off" of 1-2 seconds from the images that I had placed in that specific time frame. I had also lost my rendering of any pan and zoom and also found that I would get freeze-ups. I had to start all over again with the tedious task of timing transitions and durations of each image and it worked using the same images and audio. Once again, I don't know what your specifics were but if you had moved any files from the time you started this project...it may be the issue.

audio doesnt line up with video, no matter what audio stream I use this has happened before what do i do

kmj6z,

I had a problem with Audio Video sync one time and found a solution in the old forums. When I would preview my project in video wave or the preview mode of DVD Builder the video and audio were in sync, but after I burned the disc the audio was a few seconds off of the video. The solution from the forums that worked for me was in videowave; go to "Tools/Options" and select the File Control Tab then under the Audio Preview Files click on Delete Files. (This solution path is for EMC 7.5, but may be the same in EMC 8)

Close down EMC all the way and then re-open your project and try burning the disc if the Video and Audio are in sync in the preview. I only wasted one disc in the process, they are relatively cheap. Other suggestions that may have helped me is not running other programs while working in EMC, defragging the hard drive before capturing. The only other video audio sync problem I had was on my last dvd. I had captured the video as a DV and MPEG 2 for that disk and in the last five minutes of the DVD the video and audio went out of sync, don't know why. Hope this helps...
