steve_hartwell
I finally upgraded to DVDit Pro 6.3 and built my first massive slideshow with it. 2,262 slideshow pics 1/2-1/2 on 2 dics. About 1100 slides per disc. 5 seconds per slide, simple crossfade, and I broke each up in to 3 slideshows to apply music to. I haven't had any pixelating problems in a very long time of doing captured full motion video/audio. The discs played on 2 of 4 different players. On 1 player I had a lot of trouble getting Menu, Stop, Zoom, to work, and the music sometimes stuttered. On the other player buttons ok, but I got a lot of pixelating and stuttering music. The other 2 players seemed ok for buttons, and no pixelating video nor stuttering music playing 5 minutes from different parts of the slideshows. 2 out of 4 players ain't too good. Any thoughts ? SS Scott
if it is working on the two players than it is likely working. pretty straight forward stuff going on under the hood there. what is your bit rate? what kind of media are you using? steve_hartwell
thanks for trying to help. data rate during a slide is about 0.3, between slides during a transition is about 7.8 media is sony dvd-r as I said, all the dvd players have been playing my usual projects of full motion video at average 7 data rate. steve_hartwell
Wow, I didn't know the default data rate is 8. Used to be 7 in DVDit 5.2 I lowered the project to 6 Mbps, and all pixelating and audio stuttering disappeared, but, the remote buttons still won't work right, can't return to Menu. Have to reload the disc.
