Create A Video For Playback On Tv

gstraz@adelphia.net

Question

Since purchasing Easy Media Creator 8, all I have accomplished is to burn a DVD for playback on the computer. My intention is to transfer my DV cassettes to DVD for playback on a DVD player attached to a television.

Would someone please provide me step-by-step directions to take raw video from my DV cassette, create a movie, and burn it to a DVD (for playback on the television). Please include the applications that I must use from start to finish.

All help will be greatly appreciated@

You really need to read the help files first.

I'll try to give you a short version>

1. Use Media Import to transfer the video via Firewire to your computer. Save video file

2. Use video wave to edit

3. Use my dvd to create a DVD

I'm not sure if you have the download or retail version. If you have the retail version, it comes w/ a User's guide that can help you w/ the basics

Good luck

If you have already created a video DVD that plays on the computer, then it should play on a regular DVD player. Some set top players will not play certain types of media. Check the manual of your DVD Player connected to your TV. Some will play DVD+ media and some play DVD- media while others may play both. Also some cheap blanks may not play even though it is the correct media.
