No LP burning with Creator 9?

I had Easy CD Creator 5 on my old computer and was able to transfer LP records to digital. My new Vista computer came with Easy CD Creator 9 and I don't think it's capable of doing that or at least I can't find it. Vista won't let me install the version 5. Any suggestions?

Look and see if you have the LP and Tape Assistant.If you do you'll probably be able to.If your computer came with Roxio it may well be an OEM version and not include it.

It works fine for me, in EMC 9. But, I don't have Vista. I am going to wait a year, before I install it. Hopefully, some of the Vista bugs will be worked out by then.

This may not be a Vista problem. My version does say Basic so I guess it just does not come with it. I liked the Easy CD Creator 5 a lot better but theres no patches available for it to work with Vista. Looks like another way for Roxio to make money by forcing you to buy something you already have.

What?????? You haven't spent a penny on the Roxio software, but you did spend money on the Microsoft OS!

There are 2 ways to get to it.The first is through the Home app.If you go to the Audio section and hit "Convert LPs/Tapes" you'll find it.

The second is "Start,all programs,Roxio,Audio,Lp and Tape Assistant".

If it's not in either place you don't have it.
