Windows XP, HP Pocket Media

I purchased an HP Pocket Media Drive which came with Backup My PC. I appeared to install properly, but Backup My PC does not recognize the HP drive to backup to.

 

I can see the HP drive with Windows explorer and in fact can see it in Backup as a drive I can back up, but not as a destination drive for backup ... humm was that clear?

 

I have run the gauntlet with HP support with no success.

Destination would be "file" with a destination of the drive letter assigned in windows. It would not be listed by device type or "hp Pocket Media Drive" just a letter.
