I tried to create a Jukebox disc but the application crashes without any error message. The crash occurs in the conversion stage where the tracks on the CD are converted to MP3 (or any other format) on the hard disc. After many hours of frustration and messing with this application I managed to narrow it down to one particular track on the CD that crashes the application i.e. if I exclude all but one particular track everything is ok also or if I try to create a project with just the one particular track the application crashes immediately. As far as I can tell there is nothing wrong with the track on the CD. It plays normally and I can rip it to MP3 format without any problem at all if I use Windows Media Player. Once a crash does occur, one has to manually delete the temporary MP3 files that are created (if any) as well as a .tmp file that has a name that starts with PSK before the application can be used again. I suspect that there might be some other temporary file that causes the crash. I have messed with all the option settings i.e. changing the file format, quality, removing the CD information etc. but the crash still occurs. I will appreciate any ideas on a solution to this problem.
There is of course, the work around solution of using Windows Media player to rip the CDs and then use Roxio to burn the CD but it frustrates me that they put this feature in the package and that it does not work properly. Of course there is no way of escalating the problem to Roxio support so perhaps a sufficient number of complaints on this forum will help improve the product (this is just one of many problems on this software package that I really regret having wasted my money on).
