Use of submenus

Question

Hello everyone. I'm having problem making a DVD. I am using the layout called party. I have used this layout without problems before. There is a problem with this layout video clips that I am using all something I have used most of the video clips other DVDs for other people. But not all. My problem is, if I add more than six items to party layout it seems to operate its own submenu. But a DVD player will not read this. When I am loading the disk into the DVD player. The DVD player tries to load the discs, then it tells me it will not load the disk will play perfectly on a DVD recorder on me computer. As I say this is only will one layout I am trying to make with 16 clips. I have tried submenus, and nothing at all and let the clips lowered into the programme. The way it wants to everything seems to be okay until I try to load it into the DVD player. As I said I have played many DVDs which was made with my DVD version 9. In my DVD player it there seems to be these clips. It does not like, but I have read digitised. The clips to make sure the clips were not corrupted.

Thanks in advance Michelle

PS, I thought it may be something to do with a submenu problem. But even without submenu. The problem store arises, I have wasted hope that when the discs so far to try to make this DVD reason I am not using a DVD-RW no success with them after they have been used once. They don't seem to erase properly. Or something, I am wondering if there is anyone out there who would be able to try to duplicate what I am doing with other clips and report back to me. If they are having the same problem. Thank you again

It beats me. :( I tried a title with 16 chapters and submenu worked fine.

Perhaps the question is why doesn't the OP's DVD player see the submenus pages or the secondary menu pages? If you burn it to disc, and play it on your computer, can to access all the menu/submenu pages?

I have a project that I just completed recently ( a choir cafe night). One title with twelve chapters (a chapter per song) and using the Theatre menu style with thumbnails. It plays fine in both settop DVD player and on computer.

The best way I can describe what I am doing and is I start my DVDs and add submenu, if necessary, then on the submenu page. I put the video clips, and if there is more than what the page will hold it put a arrow in to the next level/next page. I am unable to upload any photos at the moment, probably will be another couple of days before I have storage capacity to upload photos to. But looking at your example. It does look slightly different. But that may be the way, you hear of labelled them

How do you create the submenu? Submenu is created for a title if you go as far as generating chapters and link to the button as shown in the image of this post. Did you do this step?

Take a look at the OP other post (Thank-you). The problem was her DVD player. :)
