R6025 pure virtual function call

videographer

Question

My problem is when I drag the Mpeg2 media from the Palette to the title menu in the project window, I get the following error "Parameter is invalid -19007" if I then ok that the box comes back again, if I ok that I then get "Runtime error c:\program files\roxio\dvdit pro hd\roxio dvdit pro hd.exe", I ok that then I get "c:\program files\roxio\dvdit pro hd\roxio dvdit pro hd.exe R6025 -pure-virtual function call please contact support" . Ok that and thats it the whole program dissapears. My Mpeg files are legal as I can get DVDit Pro HD to work in a fresh windows installation.

I have Windows XP home with all up to date fixes, the latest Quicktime, Internet explorer 7 and media player 10 installed I have a pentium D 3.4GHz, 2GB ram. The Blu-ray drive is a Sony BWU-100A, also I have a second Sony DVD burner.

I have been through the cleanup proceedure and reinstalled the latest beta, but no change. Does anyone know what maybe causing the conflict?

A few things to try: I would remove the second burner to eliminate "external" influences for now. Once you get things running then try to put it back in. Re-install DVDit.

Have you tried uninstalling IE 7 and rolling back to 6? I know it has caused problems in lots of programs on XP.

Thanks, I haven't tried this, but my working installation is fine with IE7.

I have compared running processes using the task manager between the working and non working installations, and terminated all of the different ones in the non-working one. I then ran DVDitPro HD and got exactly the same R6025 error.

I don't know what to do next I suppose I could backup the drive and then start uninstalling my software, but I feel there should be some way of finding out what the conflict is.
