dennisb5
How can I read back the ISRC codes I entered in my master after I burned a cd? I really would like to see if the correct codes are entered, but don't know how to check that.. Tau analyser also didnt load on my pc...
lynn98109
I think if you want to use International Standard Recording Code on a CD, you are going to need a professional-level recording program. Easy CD Creator, and Easy Media Creator (the newer Versions), are for personal use. Lynn

And which program do u suggest to use for proffesional use?
lynn98109
I have absolutely no idea. I'm a customer of Roxio, not a professional expert on commercial burning applications. Lynn

ECDC 5 Platinum will write UPC codes and ISRC codes (I have never used it). I have no idea why you could not load the Tau.
lynn98109
See if this is of use - http://recforums.prosoundweb.com/index.php...0/0/#msg_238290 I found it googling "utility read ISRC code" (without the quotes). Lynn
lynn98109
I checked with someone who says that it is possible to make a recording master with ECDC 5 (so I was wrong on that), and he knows people who have. He says there is a good utility in EMC 9 (the Disc & Drive Utility) for displaying disc information. Doing some more googling, it is necessary that the burner can write (and read) ISRC http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?showtopic=20153 and there is a high-quality utility in Easy Media Creator 9 Deluxe that enables working with ISRC (review article) http://www.authorsden.com/visit/viewarticl...amp;AuthorID=88 Lynn

As I said earlier, ECDC 5 Platinum will write them, maybe it will confirm that they have been written ( I dont have 5 installed at the moment). The user for some reason can.t download the free Tau anylyser, ( http://tta.sourceforge.net/analyzer.gui ) which sez it has a ISRC reader that will work on original studio-based CD's (does not mention homemade ones). Lets wait and see if the user comes back with an update.
Brendon
I had troubles downloading the Tau too, Tony. I tried several different mirrors before I finally got it.
