This old guy needs help. Have given up on Roxio support because totally lost in just getting in touch with them. Basically new user trying to upgrade from Sonic MyDVD (came w/computer). No installation problems but can't get mark & trim functions in VidioWave or MyDVD to work, that is, either computer freezes or results incorrect. Don't know about other functions or burning, haven't got that far!!
Have installed and uninstalled twice with same results. Posts seem to indicate clean install/uninstalled very important. At point of 2nd uninstall of cleaning up. Have searched computer for any roxio or sonic entries and have a lot of files left, most in the "Windows" folder. Esp for Sonic for folder EHome which believe pertains to Win MCE & Murvee Tech. Very reluctant to touch Win files, esp since sure that MCE uses alot of Sonic files. Can any of the Grandpa's out there help this Grandpa? Need to use primarily to edit and transfer TV & VCR recording to DVD's.
