Does it reallly make a difference if one records a Tivo show in Basic, Medium, High or Best quality after it has been burned into a DVD? I noticed that the Tivo file for a 1-hour show at best quality is 3.3-3.4 GB in size, 1.7GB at high quality and 700MB at Basic quality. When I played files through the toast built in player, they looked the same quality to me...
Are there any recommendations of what is an appropiate tivo quality for good DVD viewing in a computer vs a TV screen? I would really be able to fit a lot more shows in a DVD if they were recorded at basic quality..
