Video not showing up in DVD

Rayi

Question

Hello. I have been creating a few music DVD's where I am just using various individual mpeg music video from different artists; usually about 14 or 15 music video's fits on on DVD which I divide up in chapters. Nothing complicated, just placing the different videos one after the other in Videowave. I have done about 10 of these music video's successfully. But for some reason, on this recent music DVD, one of the music video's does not show up, only the song plays and it captures the last scene from the previous video. So all you hear is the song and the same last clip (picture) through the entire video from the previous video. But there is actually no video, just that last still frame showing throughout the video. I have wasted 4 DVD's already and the same thing keeps happening. I created them first in Videowave and then went to MyDVD. When I use the preview mode, everything looks good. I just don't understand why this is happening. I even tried trimming the previous clip and even outputing it and recreating the video again. But the same thing keeps happening. I just wonder what can cause this overlaping when they are 2 distinct videos. I have never seen this happen. I am using HQ and there is about 5 minutes still left. thanks

Is there anything different about this one file as compared to the others? You might want to sent it to GSpot just to compare it to others and see if something stands out. Sometimes I find the preview looks poor and I get a good final project and sometimes the opposite happens. You can't always depend on the preview screen but that doesn't answer your question either.

I don't see anything especially different on Gspot. The bottom line for this particular mpeg is that it will not copy onto DVD. It plays great on any media player but once you try to copy it, it will not show the video. The last DVD I tried, all it showed was black which was the last frame of the previous mpeg. Converting it first to AVI then back to mpeg did not help.

Sure sounds like a DRM issue to me.
