Adding chapters without having a menu ?

I am trying to find out if there is a way of adding chapters to a movie without

having a menu. In other words I would like to make a movie that when put into a DVD player

starts the movie and doesn't go to a menu page, but I would still like to have the

conveinience of having chapters to be able to move about the movie. I've tried all I

know but it sure seems like there should be a way to do this.

I'm not in front of PC with EMC9 but try MyDVD. If you open a new project, you can specify no menu.

After you start a new "No Menu" DVD project, then add your movie. Use the edit chapters function for your movie making sure the "create Chapter menus" option is un-checked. Then burn.
