Updating Emc 7.5

The update page for EMC 7.5 states: "Update the retail version (CD-ROM) of EMC 7.5x suite to 7.5.2.49.

Important note: This update is intended for CD-ROM purchases acquired from a retail vendor only. Do not apply this update if you have downloaded your version of Easy Media Creator 7."

 

I purchased the retail version of EMC 7 from a retail vendor. I purchased a downloaded upgrade of EMC 7.5

from the Roxio site. When Roxio says, "do not apply this update if you have downloaded your version of EMC 7" are they referring to EMC 7 or 7.5?

If you have the download version (version 7.5) you have to redownload the new version that has the update in it.

There are no updates for the downloaded version of EMC 7.5. If you down loaded it from Roxio then it already has all the updates in it that are offered to the Retail version copies.
