Drag-To-Disc

Can someone tell me how to permanantly remove the Drag-To-Disc icon/shortcut that appears in the lower right corner every time I boot up my computer? I don't want to completely remove Drag-To-Disc, but if that is what it takes to get rid of this thing on my desktop, then so be it.

Go to start, run and type in 'msconfig' (without quotes) and you can disable it from there. Reboot the computer and tell the nag screen, yes, you know you disabled a startup item and please go away

 

However, as D2D is as reliable as an igloo in the Sahara for backup purposes, I'd really recommend you totally remove it from Control Panel, add/remove programs . If you have sense, you'll never use it anyway

Thank you, thank you, thank you..... I hate having a cluttered desktop.

I'll also seriously concider your advise to remove the entire DTD program.
