Drag 2 Disc ... Errors out

Okay, I'm sure this issues has been rehashed many times but I'm new to this Forum.

When ever I try to use D2D, one item will copy, then I get errors telling me that the disc is full or error on the source disk. I have noticed that it works better if I drag the items to the Icon in the lower right corner.

 

Is this an issue that every body has when using a "Packet Writing" utility? It seems that I always have to copy my CD or DVD to my HD and reformat the disc, then drag everything back to the disc. This sucks. You would think after many releases of Roxio, that this issue would be resolved.

 

Can any one tell me more about these errors and what I can do to fix the issue?

Problems with D2D is probably the number 1 most posted in this forum.

 

Go into the search (top right on this page) and type in d2d, then select the Easy CD and DVD Creator 6

in the Search Were and read some of the many answers that will come up.

Okay so basically there is no solution. Packet writing is not reliable, therefore, remove it. Don't use it. Instead, use a CD with the session left open so you can add new stuff to the CD.

That's almost right.

 

You write in sessions with Creator, closing each session but leaving the disc open for more.

 

When you come to write the next session, you import the file index from the previous session so you can always see ALL the files on the disc.
