What happens if you try this in a stand alone player? Finally, please post your system specs, specifically, the burner portion.

Hi Beerman Thanks for your reply.First I have been burning slide shows like this for quite sometime now w/ Roxio 7 no issues. No in "My computer" says no disc in drive, used 0 bytes, Free 0 bytes. Beerman
You can also try burning to an image file then use Disc Copier to burn to a dvd. Not sure what the problem is at this point but it might help narrow it down a bit. At least you can be sure after the ISO is made that it is completed and we'll know that step is fine. Mark377
Try what Paul suggested. If it doesn't work, try some Verbatim media. I will try both and repost. Why would upgrading to R9 not like the media I've been using? Thanks
grandpabruce
I will try both and repost. Why would upgrading to R9 not like the media I've been using? Thanks That isn't necessarily the problem. It could be a bad disc in your batch of media. I have had more than one, out of a spindle, that have been bad, in the past. I can't recall ever getting a bad Verbatim disc, but I am sure that it has happened, and I just don't remember.

I burned an ISO file to my hard drive, and opened disc copier and burned the DVD from it worked fine. Plays fine on the TV DVD also. Could it be that it's burning the ISO image to the DVD, so the players don't reconize the format? Thanks So much Mark377

I never do it any other way except to ISO first. I then test it with Roxio to see if it looks good then I burn it to disc with Disc Copier or Creator Classic. Why some have problems I don't know. Could be a buffer problem, memory or whatever but I know many of the regulars here do it the same way you just did and now you can see why. Glad it's working for you now.
