How Do I

Question

I just bought EMC9 and want to install it on my new Vista Home Premium machine. I noticed on your board that you said EMC9 installed with no problems as long as you uninstall Drag to Disk right a way. How are you uninstalling darg to disk? Do I need to do this?

Uninstall it after installation (go to control panel, add/remove programs and it's listed there separately)

As a backup system, it's reliability is slightly lower than an igloo in the Sahara, so it's as well dumping it (mopst long time users here get rid of it right away)

Who is you? Is that me? I didn't say that everyone who did what I did was not having problems only that I haven't since I've installed it on a clean Vista Ultimate machine almost 2 months ago. There have been problems with DLA errors mentioned and if you read some of the posts you'll see them and what some have done to fix them as well.

No problem - let us know how it works for you (personally, I'm avoiding Vista for as long as possible - or until MS manage to get some of the bugs out of it)

Daithi, bugs are full of protein!

I'm amazed at how many companies are holding off and many don't even have Vista on their radar.

hotgog, I think one of the most important things is that I installed Roxio on a clean install of Vista....not an upgrade from XP to Vista. I'm sure that makes a big difference.
