Thanks everyone! I made the video on the DVD builder and then went back to the main roxio page after I saved the video. Then I opened up Video Wave and opened my project. Then I pressed file/output production to.... It asked me what I wanted to convert the video to, so I chose to change into a video file. When it asked me what I was going to use the video for, I chose posting on internet. After it was changed into a different kind of file, I went onto YouTube and followed all of their instructions for uploading a video.

Thanks for sharing. I am sure it will help others that need help in this area. I would suggest that you compose your videos in videowave, it gives you more editing options and most find it more compatable not to mention you eliminate one step. Congrats with the video, it is really good.

According to youtube "YouTube accepts video files from most digital cameras, camcorders, and cell phones in the .WMV, .AVI, .MOV, and .MPG file formats."

If you have the original production in VideoWave, you can just do a File\ Output production to..... and choose from the various 'Internet' options.

If you only have the video on a DVD, you'll probably have to 'Capture' it and edit it down to a length they'll accept.

You can use VideoWave or....

Roxio has a cool little FREE program in the Roxio Labs that allows you to make videos specifically for UTube and GoFish. You can find Roxio Buzz here: http://www.roxio.com/enu/solutions/roxiola...video/buzz.html

Thanks everyone! But how exactly do I change the format? I tried going to file/ output video, but I couldn't find it under the file column.

Which program are you using?
