label creator issue

Question

I have two questions regarding label creator

1. How can I export label created as simple JPEG to send to printer?

2. The CD label will be burned directly onto the disc, I need to send image without the hole in the middle and without the outside border

Can anyone help on these two issues

thanks

1. I don't think you can. Label Creator saves a project as a .jwl file, but that is a hex file that simply contains the information about the label you created, so it can reconstruct it when you open the project again at a later time. It does not save an image of the label as such.

As a work around you could do a screen capture (or capture the area with the label) and save the image that way.

You can print directly from Label Creator either to paper or if you have lightscribe, burn to the CD. See the Help file for the latter.

2. In the print page, you can check the option print center/core label and uncheck Print disk outline.

Create your label. Click FILE / Output Current layout as image...

You can save the file as PNG, JPG, BMP, GIF or TIF. YOu should then be able to use that file in any other printing application. However, this does not save the inner core in the image.

Your best bet is what Jean suggested for #2. If your printer shows up in the printer list, it should work.
