I've been using EMC 7 for a couple years now to capture the video and burn it to DVDs. It's been working quite well. I hadn't done any capturing/burning for several months and decided it was time to do so. I captured the video perfectly and created my production in VideoWave. When I click on the DVD icon to open DVD Builder and prepare the production for burning, DVD Builder starts to open, but then I get a message that it has encountered a problem and needs to close. Below is the info I get from the error signature:
AppName: dvdbuilder7.exe
ModVer: 7.0.5730.11
ModName: dxtrans.dll
AppVer: 7.0.425.0
Offset: 0000d07f
I created a new user profile on my computer, uninstalled EMC, and reinstalled it on the new user. This had solved some problems I'd had initially with the program, but it didn't work this time.
My OS is WinNT 5.1 and I use Internet Explorer 7, but this problem doesn't seem exactly like what I've read the problems with IE 7 to be. I have not yet tried removing IE 7. That is next on my list though. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
