Dell...."did not update marketing materials in China prior to making the change to the T2300E processor" which does not support visualization.

 

That might make a computer buyer a tad unhappy.

After having dealt with Dell once, I am not surprised. Would not surprise me if the same thing didn't happen here.

And I'm one to believe that DELL knew what they were doing all along.

 

This is similar to another example: The Electric company in our state charged rates higher than what was allowed by the public utilities commission. So after they were caught, they reimbursed those that sent in a form for the mistake. Well guess what ? they made millions including interest on the deal. Even if they have to reimburse everyone a few cents, they make a lot of money just on the interest they have accumulated.

 

It takes some pretty smart "bean counters" to figure out all these ways of making money . Another best example of how to make money with other peoples money is the "rebate" process. Hey, give me a million dollars that I can put in my bank at a small interest rate and let me keep it for 2 months before I have to send a check back to those that buy my products. Then usually there will only be a small percent of the people that will ever send in all the information they need to get the rebate. MORE MONEY for the company.
