BobMD
Sounds like you can get Roxio Creator 9 Suite running under Vista with a little work. My question is, would you installed Roxio Creator 9 Suite on Vista Ultimate or on an XP Virtural PC 2007 running in Vista Ultimate? Thanks. BobMD
Very good information. Thank you both for replying. I never thought about the video drivers in the VM space. I think that would be a show stopper for the suite products. Well...I think I will look over this board one more time and take the plunge. Creator 9 Suite on a fairly fresh install of Vista Ultimate 32-bit. I will post back with the results. What's the worst that can happen...right?! I installed on a fresh install of Ultimate and promptly removed Drag to Disc, rebooted and have had no problems.
gi7omy
Running in a virtual machine could be problematic as, in general, they use their own video drivers, etc rather than the normal ones. I have managed to ger ECD6 to run under VMWare in Linux, but I never tried for the EMC priograms due to the fact that the video end was a generic VMWare driver
BobMD
Well...so far so good. I have only used a very small amount of the whole suite, but I was able to create a basic DVD with pitures and music. Did standard full install and removed drag to disc before reboot.
