Toast 8 thinks there is more data than there is....

Hi there

 

I have just put 4.55 GB of MP3's into toast to burn as a data CD and in the bottom left hand corner of the window it says: 4.55 GB will be spread across two DVD's. (This is before I have inserted a blank DVD)

 

Now, I must be missing something here but it has happened with movies too where I have 12 TV episodes that total at 4.5 GB but I can only fit 3 episodes on 1 DVD.

 

 

Please, can someone help?

The actual maximum capacity of a 4.7 GB disc is 4.38 GB. Here is one explanation of why there is this difference.
