I installed Backup My PC 2006 on the PC of my Customer some months ago, Configuration is as follows:
HP 7600 CMT, WinXP PRO SP2, all Updates done. For the Backups we use a Sony AIT-260 internal
Tape Drive.
BumP is configured to back up every night from monday to friday, beginning with erasing the tape on monday and backing up everything, then just in incremental backup til friday.
Sometimes Bump doesn't want to back up and we're getting the Error:
SBEWIN32, another User is running sonic Backup My PC. Please finish the other application before
using Sonic Backup My PC.
I had this problem first when I installed Bump; but then I had it installed with the administrator
user and tried to use it later when the user login with user rights ran tonight. I then gave the
user administrator rights and installed it again with the user login.
It usually runs fine then, but sometimes when I get the Error Message and try to read the tape
it says: Tape not initialised, please use another tape or initalise tape first.
I already tested the tape with a sony tape tool, it says the tape is perfect, as says the sony support.
I already initialised the used tapes again twice, the tape drive gets cleaned once a week....
I don't know any more where the error is; it has to be within backup My PC; I just can't see
anywhere a patch, upgrade or something besides buying version 7... I think this Version

Hi together;
I installed Backup My PC 2006 on the PC of my Customer some months ago, Configuration is as follows:
HP 7600 CMT, WinXP PRO SP2, all Updates done. For the Backups we use a Sony AIT-260 internal
Tape Drive.

I don't know any more where the error is; it has to be within backup My PC; I just can't see
anywhere a patch, upgrade or something besides buying version 7... I think this Version
should work!!!
thank you in advance!
matt
