DVD builder will not work

Sashtal

Question

Have been using DVD builder for a while and after creating a large project (one of many) the last time I went in it would not let me open the project, I then tried to create a new project and it would not let me add a title, it stopped responding. Please can any give me any ideas of what to do. I have tried repairing the software in add/remove programs and have even deleted the whole thing and reinstalled but no help.

Desperate!

I have the same problem with burning a Video Wave production to DVD Builder. I am looking for the Roxio patch for this problem, since I assume all Roxio programs are incompatible with IE7. Can't remove IE7 because many newer programs require it. Can someone direct me to the Roxio patch? Thanks.

Adding to above, I am using the retail boxed version of EMC7, updated with the latest online patches as of today. Running WinXPSP2. Recently reinstalled my hard drive. I realize there are new versions of EMC, which I don't need since EMC7 is fine for my purposes. If Roxio doesn't support it anymore, I'll move on to ProShow Gold or something. Thanks.

There is no patch to make EMC 7 compatable with IE 7.

Perhaps Microsoft has a patch to make their new program IE 7 backward compatable with older programs?

( I might even use IE 7 if it didn't break many of the programs I've paid good money for.)

EMC 9 is compatable with IE 7 but there is no longer official support for EMC 7.

Have you installed anything new lately like IE 7? If you have installed IE 7, uninstall it and roll back to IE 6. IE 7 breaks EMC 7 (and many other programs).

I'd like to know what those programs are too. Between home & work I have over 1000 various programs and none of them require IE 7. In fact IE 7 breaks many of them so they do not work properly.

Maybe when MS makes a browser (or updates 7) that's compliant with the standards, it won't be an issue.
