Can't make DVD using Photo story 3 for windows

I have a Dell Dimensiion 2400, Windows XP. And I have been looking for a way to make DVD's from my downloaded digital photo's. And I found the Sonic DVD for Photo Story 3 online, so I bought it and downloaded it online. But when it gets to the last phase to burn it, the lines are grayed out. I would appreciate any help.

You might want to check with the Sonic Tech Support.

 

I don't know enough about the program to help you properly.

 

It may be that the program isn't 'seeing' your DVD/CD burner and checking the Dell website Customer Support for 'updates/firmware' for your burner might help.

 

While you're on the Dell website, make certain that you have a DVD burner and not a DVD ROM which plays DVDs but won't burn them. It's a small difference in the way the drives are marketed. A DVD/CD RW will burn CDs, but not DVDs. A CD/DVD RW will burn both.

 

Check with Dell to see what kind of DVDs they recommend for use with that burner.
