unable to build the render graph

In Videowave9 I get an errormessage 'unable to build the render graph' when I try to Output as... It doesn't matter what I try to output as. The fix suggested in the knowledge base (register a file) doesn't help. Nor does removing all transitions. What can I do?

Try going into Tools/options and change the render mode. Are your video drivers up to date?

I have tried that too; I changed it to hardware (no luck) and then back again (no luck). The PC is brand new Fujitsu Siemens with Vista. So the drivers should be OK...?

Check what the grahics chipset is - my Fujitsu uses a SiS onboard set and ain't capable of handling the video end of EMC9 even in XP
