i am editing an interview piece on videowave 9 on a toshiba satellite windows vista system (brand new).
i have split a 2-minute mpeg-4 file into 4 pieces. everything syncs/edits/trims fine -- tho clumsily -- in production. when "outputted" and played the video cuts are as produced, however, the audio of the 3rd and 4th clips do not trim in sync w/video, in fact starting at :00 of the original file.
i've attacked this issue several diffent ways: i "added" the file 4 indivudual times (instead of splitting the 1 into 4) and trimmed each accordingly but even that yields the same unintended results. i even tried the same production on a compaq nc6500 windows xp laptop with the same unintended results.
no "errors" are displayed/alerted.
i cannot find any settings or parameters that would affect or adjust this and the help/tutorial tabs are of little help overall.
