DLA driver blocked

As described at the top of this forum by John at Roxio, I'm getting a message when starting Vista that the driver Sonic Solutions DLA cannot be loaded. The problem is I do not have Easy Media Creator on my computer. I tried the 32 bit patch, but it didn't do anything because, of course, it couldn't find the suspect software. I have a Sony dvd, so maybe some kind of Sonic Solutions software came with it, but I can't figure out where the problem is. This thing is driver-ing me nuts. Any ideas? I'm pretty good at fixing my own problems, but I'm no IT professional.

I'm glad I found this forum.

I had a copy of Nero 6 before I updated to Vista, but have since deleted it via the uninstall function. I have no more Nero software on board. Could there be some remnents left over? Any other ideas?

Look in Add/Remove Programs, and see if InCD is still there. If it is, uninstall it.
