im going to add narration for the first time and need to buy a mic.Any sugestions of ones that work best with Videowave 7.5??

I often do narration and also singing. I have a Logitech earphone headset with built in mic and it works great. Recordings are clear, clean, etc. I think I paid about $20.

Just as a word of caution Bob, when you do the narrations, if you don't like the first try and want to do the first one over again, be aware of the name that the program gives to each narration. The names have some pretty odd names and casn get mixed up quite easily. BTW, I am using a Logitech earphone and mic setup also and as "itsme51" suggested it works great.

thanks--yes i read the thread i think you wrote on the whole naming thing--the suggestion about setting up folders seems very good.Is the whole process pretty straigtfoward, just install the mic software/hardware,and click on the mic (after setting up a folder),get a countdown and go.I only am going to make a few comments overan hour dvd--so is therea fast foward control to move ahead to a spot i want to comment on--they are old family 8mms moveis.thanks again--bob
